Building a Personal Brand

Melissa's advice on how to build your personal brand definitely helped me to think about a range of ideas, as to how I can present my brand to the world...

One of my branding images came as a reminder of how I used to look as a young performer and inspired me to want to help young performers today...

I agree it's really important to include a personal touch to your brand and believe that people are going to be more likely to want to work with someone they feel that they know and trust. And if you are open and present in your digital content and introduce yourself, then surely that can only help prospective customers to relate to you and also believe in your passion for your product?

Whenever I look at a website I always look for information about the person behind the brand. After all, that is going to be the person/people you are potentially going to be working with?

I've been inspired to look carefully again, at the values of the company and give more thought to our mission and our vision for the future.

Building a community is also very important to me. I want people to know about lipstickcabaret.co.uk and support it in our efforts to provide live cabaret entertainment to a wider audience. Everyone should be given the opportunity to experience funny, exciting entertainment to improve the quality of their lives. And there's always a need to provide more jobs for artists of course.

I promise I did try my hardest to re-size this photo without much luck! I couldn't get it any bigger! ;)

No-one can say that I haven't given this blog a personal touch...

Of course a sense of humour always comes in handy...people want to work with people who are fun and humorous besides professional...well, I do anyway.

Melissa's advice with regards to partnerships is vital. We are currently working towards collaborating with a few companies involving joint articles for digital content, promoting each other via a range of marketing avenues and collaborative performances. Why work in competition when you can pool resources and work together? It is really rewarding when you are able to help partner companies and vice versa.

I hope you will find the article as helpful as I did and use it to improve the development of your own personal brand. Good luck and Best Wishes.
